Judge remands BDC operator Mompha in Prison after pleading not guilty to fraud [video]

BDC operator and suspected intenet fraudster, Islamila Mustapha aka Mompha, has pleaded not guilty to the 14 count charge of fraud brought against him by the EFCC after appearing in court today, 25th November, 2019.

He pleaded not guilty to the N33billion money laundering and Internet crime charges filed against him by the agency. 

Mompha was arraigned before Justice Mohammed Liman of the Federal High Court on a 14-count charge this morning November 25th.

Following his ”Not guilty” plead, the presiding judge ordered that he be remanded in prison custody and adjourned the case till Friday November 29th for hearing of his bail application and commencement of trial.
