A bus conductor was burnt to death on Tuesday morning after he killed a passenger over N100 change disagreement. This happened at the Five Star Bus Stop near Aswani Market, Isolo.
Eyewitnesses reported that the unfortunate passenger asked to alight from the bus at a junction before Aswani Market area. He asked for his N100 change but the conductor insisted that he had to pay full price despite not reaching the final bus stop. An argument ensued leading to the conductor stabbing the passenger with a knife he grabbed from a nearby vendor. The passenger died on the spot.
An angry mob descended on the conductor and burnt him to death with his bus.
