A woman who accused Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, of rape has reportedly been arrested and charged to court after allegedly attempting to abscond.
The woman, identified on X as @chubbiedivah, had deactivated her account and left both social media and allegedly her home shortly after making the allegation.
According to sources close to the matter, she was arrested on November 6, 2025, detained, and later charged to court on November 10, 2025.
Barely 24 hours into detention, the accused allegedly complained of breathing difficulty and swollen legs, claiming she needed urgent medical attention.
After consideration, authorities released her temporarily to seek treatment, with her lawyer assuring she would return on November 10.
However, she failed to appear in court as promised, with her lawyer citing serious health issues.
After another failed appearance on November 17, the matter has now been rescheduled for December 1, 2025, with the court ordering that either the accused or her lawyer must be present without fail.
