Lady who embarked on road journey from London to Lagos arrives after 68 days [video]


A travel blogger named Pelumi Nubi, who embarked on a road journey from London to Lagos, has completed her adventure after 68 days. 

Starting on January 31, 2024, she crossed 17 countries, navigating through England, France, Spain, Morocco, and the vast West Sahara Desert solely by road.

Her route continued through Mauritania, Senegal, Gambia, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Mali, Burkina Faso, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, and Benin before her triumphant arrival in Lagos. 

Throughout her journey, Pelumi shared her experiences, both positive and challenging, on social media platforms.

She encountered difficulties with immigration officials in Africa and faced obstacles such as being denied entry to Sierra Leone at the border and dealing with a car accident in Ivory Coast. 

Despite having to postpone her arrival twice, Pelumi persevered and finally reached her destination on Sunday, April 7, 2024, arriving at the University of Lagos.
