Three former vice presidents of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, Yemi Osinbajo, and Namadi Sambomet met on Friday in Ondo State.
Atiku shared the news on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, noting that he was warmly welcomed at the Akure Airport by Osinbajo, Sambo, and other dignitaries.
They gathered ahead of the coronation of Oba Clement Adesuyi Haastrup, the new Owa Obokun Adimula and Paramount Ruler of Ijesaland, which is taking place in Osun State.
The ceremony is being held at Obokungbusi Hall in Ilesa, with a reception at Ilesa Grammar School.
Security agencies, including the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, have deployed personnel to ensure the event runs smoothly.
The coronation is expected to draw notable guests from across Nigeria and beyond.
