The plenary session at the Ondo State House of Assembly was abruptly ended with lawmakers fleeing due to invasion of the building by multiple snakes.
According to reports, a number of snakes had begun to fall from the ceiling of the hollow chamber on Wednesday and Thursday.
According to a source, the one that fell during the Thursday sitting, almost fell on the Speaker, Mr. Bamidele Oloyeloogun while presiding over the session.

The Assembly had therefore adjourned its sitting till further notice until certain repairs were carried out on the Assembly complex.
Recall, the President of Liberia, George Weah, suffered a similar ordeal when he was chased out of his office by snakes too.
