Liverpool ‘bid £29.5million’ for Nigeria star Samuel Chukwueze

Champions of Europe Liverpool FC, reportedly had a £29.5million bid for Villarreal’s Nigerian attacker Samuel Chukwueze, rejected during the
January transfer window.

According to reports, Reds wanted Chukwueze to provide cover and competition for Mohamed Salah, with Xherdan Shaqiri increasingly looking set for a future away from Anfield.

However, Villarreal where holding out for a mouthwatering sum of £55m for the Nigerian Golden boy.

It’s unsure if the reds will return with in improved bid in the summer with Reports of a Phillipe Coutinho return looking likely.

Chukwueze has made 22 appreances for his club this season and the young prodigy is closed being watch by other top clubs in Europe.
