Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker put his club rivalry aside to baptise Manchester United midfielder Fred’s wife Monique Salumin an emotional ceremony.
The two players are teammates at international level for Brazil, and are both known to be devout Catholics, and are often seen praying on the pitch.
Alisson assisted in baptising Reds forward Roberto Firmino earlier this year, and did the same again in a swimming pool for Monique, helping dunk her under the water in the
traditional manner.

Both Alisson and Fred are currently on their winter break, with Liverpool not due to play again until they take on Norwich on February 15 and United without a game until their huge clash
with Chelsea on February 17.
