Man arrested by DSS for using President Buhari’s daughter’s old MTN sim

A man identified as Anthony Okolia, has been reportedly detained for over 10 months by the DSS for using a sim that had belonged to Hanan Buhari, the President’s daughter. 

Sahara reporters publisher and activist, Omoyele Sowore, had made this known via his twitter page.

A lawyer identified as Tope Akinyode, had narrated that he reached out to Anthony and discovered that he had purchased the sim which had been dormant and recycled by MTN for use. 

The lawyer who now represents Anthony has said that he’ll be suing the agency in his behalf for the treatment. 

Sowore had tweeted:

A Nigerian, Anthony Okolia, was detained for 10 weeks by the DSS for using an MTN phone line previously used and abandoned by President Buhari’s daughter, Hanan!
