A Marcus Rashford double sent Jose Mourinho crashing to his first defeat since becoming Tottenham boss.

England star Rashford wasps in electrifying form and could have had a hat-trick or more as he terrorised Tottenham’s defence at Old Trafford.

His two goals a stunning 6th minute striker and a 47th minute penalty after he’d been fouled by Moussa Sissoko  made it a losing return for Mourinho who spent two and a
half season at Old Trafford before being sacked almost a year ago.

Dele Alli confirmed his return to form with a fine 39th minute equaliser for Tottenham who only started to look dangerous in the closing minutes.

But this was arguably United’s best display of the season to give under-fire boss Ole Gunnar Soslkjaer some breathing space and a boost before Saturday’s Manchester derby at The Etihad.
