Manchester United could be without Luke Shaw for a month after he developed a hamstring problem in the loss to Crystal
Palace on Saturday.
The England and United left back was substituted in the first half of the 2-1 defeat and now faces a spell on the sidelines.
United’s next fixtures during that period are against Southampton , Leicester , West Ham , Arsenal , Liverpool and Norwich.
Boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was initially hopeful the knock to Shaw was not too serious, and he would be able to play
against the Saints.
United brought on Ashley Young as a replacement against Palace and it is likely he will deputise in Shaw’s absence.
The prognosis would also mean Shaw would also be ruled out of England’s first Euro 2020 qualifiers with Bulgaria and
Kosovo next month.
