Egypt forward, Mohamed Salah has broken his silence after international teammate Amr Warda was sent home from Egypt’s Africa Cup of Nations campaign in disgrace.

Warda, 25, appeared as a substitute in Egypt’s  opening game against Zimbabwe but will play no further part in the tournament.

Pharaoh’s priceless player condemned the acts surrounding the allegations, but insisted that Warda shouldn’t have been “sent straight to the guillotine”.

Salah who celebrated his goal in a “Yoga” way meaning “respect women” also said,

“I also believe that many who make mistakes can change for the better and shouldn’t be sent straight to the guillotine,
which is the easiest way out.
