Nollywood actor Bolanle Ninalowo has reacted after an impersonator allegedly used his identity to defraud a woman, Victoria Ayano, of N33 million.
Ayano, in a petition to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), accused one Bolanle Azeez of posing as the actor and obtaining the said amount from her.
Reacting in a post shared on Instagram, Ninalowo expressed disbelief over the incident. He wrote: “Which kine juju be this naa?”
The actor also expressed shock at the huge amount involved, stating that he had never received such a fee for a single movie role.
“This one loud ooo. N33,000,000 for wetin? Even Nollywood wey blow me never pay me N33 million per film,” he said.
The development comes two years after a man was sentenced to prison in 2023 for impersonating the popular actor.
Ninalowo has repeatedly raised concerns about impersonation.
In March 2025, he lamented the existence of several accounts created with his name on TikTok and other platforms, which fraudsters have used to defraud unsuspecting victims.
