The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has announced that it will hold the screening test for its 77 Regular Course admission on May 24, 2025.
According to the academy’s spokesperson, Major Mohammad Maidawa, the screening is part of the selection process for candidates who applied for the 2025 academic year and chose NDA as their first-choice institution during the UTME.
To be eligible, candidates must have scored at least 180 in the UTME.
However, those applying for engineering courses must have a minimum score of 210.
Only applicants who meet these requirements will be allowed to choose a test centre and participate in the screening.
Successful candidates from the screening test will be invited to the Armed Forces Selection Board at the NDA.
There, they will undergo further evaluations, including medical, physical, and mental tests.
The final list of admitted candidates will be published either on the NDA website or in national newspapers.
The NDA also warned the public about fake social media accounts impersonating the academy.
These fraudulent accounts spread false information and ask for money in the name of the admission process.
The academy advised applicants to be cautious and seek official information only through verified channels.
