Senator Ned Nwoko has reportedly filed for full custody of his children with Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, according to a statement released by the actress.
Daniels disclosed this through a post on her Instagram page, where she shared a video of the last time she said she spoke with her children via a video call.
She said the custody move came despite Nwoko already having physical custody of the children, a situation she said has left her without communication with them.
The actress stated that her separation from her children has been deeply distressing, noting that no mother can be at peace while kept away from her children.
She alleged that Nwoko dismissed all her nannies and pressured them into making statements accusing her of violence and alcohol abuse in the presence of the children.
Daniels also accused the senator of repeatedly posting the children publicly, saying such actions would inevitably attract media attention during the dispute.
She said she initially chose to remain silent to avoid escalating the matter in the media but decided to speak out following what she described as continued provocation.
Recall that Daniels has said her marriage with the lawmaker is over following allegations of domestic abuse, which were met with counter allegations of drug abuse by the senator.
Reaffirming her role as a mother, the actress said she misses her children deeply and remains confident that she will reunite with them soon.
