Nigeria’s Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has explained that the country is the best one to live in, in the world.
He made this known in his welcome remarks to Finland Ambassador to Nigeria, Dr Jyrki Pulkkimen, who had paid him a courtesy visit in his office on Monday.
The minister had also addressed accusations that President Buhari’s Government was involved in human rights violations.
The Minister also expressed that the social media regulation plans by the government was only sanitising the media on hate speech and abuse of the freedom of speech, adding that the government, through the Ministry of Information, had begun the fight against hate speech since 2017.
He clarified that a regulation of social media did not extend to depriving citizens of their rights.
