Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has once again stirred public debate after declaring that Nigerian politicians lack ideology and are moved by their stomachs.
The former Rivers Governor, made the remark while speaking at an event recently where he stated that he was happy that the celebrant had an ideology unlike other Nigerian politicians.
This is not the first time the outspoken politician has voiced such concerns. Amaechi has previously said that poor governance continues because Nigerians are more docile and unwilling to send their poor performing leaders packing.
Amaechi who has aligned with budding opposition ADC, previously stated that this administration had made him hungry since it assumed power, alluding to poor policies.
He has indicated ambitions to run for president again after attempting same in 2023 where he failed to go past the APC primaries.
