NLC to commence nationwide strike today over minimum wage

The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, is set to start a nationwide strike action today in protest for payment of minimum wage.

This means there will be a complete shutdown of activities as government workers would protesting rather than working. 

Recall, the government had granted the bill for the new N30,000 minimum wage some months ago but they’ve been yet to start the actual implementation of the bill.
