Odion Ighalo leaves fans guessing over Super Eagles retirement U-turn

Super Eagles Striker, Odion Ighalo has left Eagles fans guessing if he has made a u-turn on his international retirement after a cryptic tweet early morning Wednesday.

Ighalo, who is currently injured, posted pictures of himself in the national colors with the caption:

“Coming Back Stronger”

It will be recalled the forward announced his international retirement after Nigeria’s campaign at the AFCON 2019.

At the time Ighalo’s decision left many disappointed and there has been efforts by the NFF leadership and the Eagles Coach, Gernot Rohr, to reconsider his position.

Ighalo is currently undergoing rehabilitation on his injury in other to be fit for the Chinese super league.
