Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has called out the organizers of the Headies Awards over the car prize attached to his Next Rated win at the 2025 edition of the event.
The rapper, whose real name is Tochukwu Ojogwu, took to his Twitter page on Friday to remind the award body that he has yet to receive the prize.
“I don forget say I win car, headies wey my car?” he wrote. In a follow-up tweet, he added, “Na true oo, Headies,” tagging the official handle of the organizers.
Odumodublvck emerged winner of the Next Rated category at the 2025 Headies Awards, a category traditionally accompanied by a car gift.
His public remarks have drawn attention to whether the award body has fulfilled its obligation.
The rapper’s tweets have since generated reactions from fans and industry observers, with some supporting his demand and others questioning the delay.
As at the time of filing this report, the Headies organizers have not issued an official statement regarding the status of the car prize.
