Appeal Court judge Justice Eberechi Suzzette Wike who is the wife of FCT minister Nyesom Wike, has declared that one needs to be a strong woman to handle her husband’s big personality.
She made this at a Court of Appeal sports event organized by its President Monica Dongban-Mensem in honour of International road crash victims in Africa.
When asked in a causal chat what it takes to manage him, she simply replied:
“It takes a strong woman to do so. I don’t want to go further than this.”
The event was a golf one hosted at the Goodluck Jonathan Golf Course located within the Nigeria Air Force Base, Abuja.
Justice Wike noted that many Nigerians would likely be taken aback seeing her on the golf course, though she has played the sport several times before.
She explained that she attended the event mainly to show solidarity with Dongban-Mensem, whose advocacy for road safety is driven by the personal tragedy of losing her son in a road accident in 2011.
Speaking about her routines outside the courtroom, the judge said she relaxes by watching television, especially news channels, because staying updated on national issues helps her anticipate matters that could eventually reach her bench.
She added that she also loves cooking, enjoys football, and swims often, recalling that she even played football back in secondary school.
