A tragic scene unfolded on Thursday as a passenger plane crashed shortly after takeoff, sending thick plumes of black smoke into the sky and sparking panic in the area.
Emergency response teams rushed to the site as fire crews worked desperately to bring the blaze under control.

The aircraft, Air India Flight AI171, a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, had just taken off from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad and was en route to London Gatwick before the incident occurred.
