General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has advised President Bola Tinubu to adopt a two-step approach in responding to U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent threat of invasion.
Speaking at the church’s November Holy Ghost Service themed “The Eve of Glory,” Adeboye said that if he were asked to make recommendations to the federal government, he would advise the president to first convince the American government to delay any action for at least 100 days.
He added that after securing that window, the president should give marching orders to the service chiefs to eliminate terrorists and their sponsors within 90 days or resign.
“This is not the time for jokes, grammar, or arguments. It’s not about Christians or Muslims — innocent people are dying,” he warned.
Adeboye stressed that the government must send a strong message that those funding or supporting terrorism would face the same consequences as the insurgents themselves.
Recall Dockaysworld reported that President Trump had designated Nigeria a country of particular concern over an alleged Christian genocide. There’s since been a cascade of reactions from the international scene over the matter, with the Nigerian government’s concrete response still being expected.
