Paul Pogba has demanded Manchester United double his salary to £600k a week, according to latest reports from Italy.
The France star is contracted to United until 2021, but he and agent Mino Raiola have recently agreed to enter negotiations over a new deal.
United stood firm on their £180million valuation of the World Cup winner amid interest from Real and Juventus this summer, after Pogba declared it would be a “dream” to play for the La Liga giants.
But Pogba is reported to have demanded that if the Red Devils want to keep him, they must double his £15m-per-year pay packet.
That’s according to Italian reports, which claims Pogba wants to push through a move as he is conscious that Real and Juve have also been monitoring Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen.
Pogba was missing when United goalkeeper David de Gea took his teammates out for a bonding meal following United’s penalty shootout win over Rochdale in the Caraba Cup on Wednesday.
