Man Utd star Paul Pogba is in hospital to undergo surgery on his injured ankle.
The Frenchman has been dogged by persistent problems this season, which has seen him manage just eight appearances
in all competitions.
He missed three months of the campaign following the 1-1 draw with Arsenal at the end of September, before returning in the loss to Watford just before Christmas.
But after featuring just once since, Pogba has now gone under the knife to resolve a fresh but similar ankle issue.
Pogba uploaded a video to his Instagram account on Tuesday of him in a hospital room ahead of the procedure.
United look set to be without their star midfielder for up to four weeks as he recuperates from the surgery.
