The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced that its South-West zonal caucus meeting will hold on Friday, July 11, 2025.
The meeting is scheduled to take place at the party’s South-West Zonal Secretariat in Ibadan, Oyo State.
This was made known in a statement issued on Tuesday by the National Vice Chairman (South-West), Kamorudeen Ajisafe.
According to the statement, the meeting will be presided over by the National Vice Chairman and will have in attendance members of the Zonal Working Committee, serving and former Presidents and Vice Presidents of Nigeria from the South-West who remain in the party, as well as serving and former governors and deputy governors from the region who are still members of the PDP.
Also expected to attend are current and former members of the National Assembly from the South-West, serving and past members of the party’s National Executive Committee from the region, PDP state chairmen, their deputies, and secretaries.
Former and current Speakers and Deputy Speakers of state Houses of Assembly in the zone, along with former federal ministers, secretaries to the government of the federation, ambassadors, special advisers, and senior special assistants to the President from the zone, have also been invited.
The party also noted that former officials of federal boards and parastatals who are from the zone are expected to attend the meeting.
In a notable inclusion, the PDP stated that three physically challenged persons will be specially admitted into the caucus meeting.
