PDP expels Wike, others

The Peoples Democratic Party has expelled Nyesom Wike, Ayo Fayose, Samuel Anyanwu and several other members from the party.

Dockaysworld reports that the expulsion was announced during its national convention in Ibadan after a motion calling for their expulsion was adopted by delegates.

The decision followed a move raised by one of the party’s founding leaders, Bode George, and supported on the floor by Bauchi State governor, Bala Mohammed.

Delegates agreed that the affected members worked against the party in recent political activities, leading to their removal from the fold.

Those listed in the expulsion included National Legal Adviser Adeyemi Ajibade (SAN), Umar Bature, AbdulRahman Mohammed, Mao Chuambuwa, George Turner, Austin Nwachukwu, Abraham Ammah and Dan Orbih.

Their removal came during the ongoing two-day convention that drew large attendance from across the country.

More details are expected as the convention continues.

Wow! What a glorious news even though it is belated but better than never. Congratulations to the PDP as s peace that has eluded the party will return with the ouster of the Rivers warlord and garage boy and his cohorts. Nyesom wike is now a political orphan at last. APC will soon shove him into his rightful place in the history o Nigerian politics.
