‘I personally went on the road for 3hours counting money at checkpoints and no officer asked me how far’ – AC of police, shogunle defends officers

In a post which has sparked bitter comments from nigerians the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Abayomi Shogunle has again Defended SARS and men of the nigerian police about the claims by Nigerians that they constitute a menace on the road harrassing people and collecting bribes.

According to a post he shared on twitter he was seen in a photo counting money as he was on his way to Ekiti state, but said no one Asked him to ‘shake body'(bribe).

He stated that he counted the money at every check point to attract the bribe seeking officers, but according to him none of them asked him ‘how far’
