Pick up my project with my dead body – Promising UNIPORT final student write as he commits suicide

A Promising student of the University of Port Harcourt, UNIPORT, identified as Prince Digbani, has committed suicide just after finishing his final year project. 

The 500-level Electrical engineering student had left a cryptic message on his WhatsApp story a some time before taking his own life on Monday. 

He had asked that his project betaken alongside his body whenever he was found. Friends of the deceased told of how he’d informed them of his plans to kill himself. 

They added that he went home to his off-campus apartment and by 3:51 pm on Monday, he started updating suicidal posts on his Whatsapp story. They said they called him severally but he refused to answer as his updates became more worrisome.

His co-tenants later broke his door and found him convulsing after taking a poisonous substance. 

He was then rushed to the Lulu-Briggs medical center where he was pronounced dead.

Recall another student, a 100-level girl in Chemical engineering, of UNIPORT had also committed suicide earlier in the year.
