Early Life and Family Background
Pino Vibes, whose real name is Somto Precious Monanu, was born on the 20th of April 1995 in the beautiful city of Benin, Edo State, but is originally from Aguata in Anambra State.
He was raised in a humble Christain family by his parents, Mr and Mrs Monanu.
He has three siblings. Two of whom are also well known in the media space — his brothers, Emeka and Darlington Monanu are directors in his company and record label.

In February of 2025, controversial social media personality, Very Dark Man publicly accused Pino Vibes of emotional blackmail and manipulation.
In the video, VDM claimed that he and Pino were once on good terms, especially when the blogger shared his content on his page. However, things took a bad turn after Pino revealed that he was the brains behind GossipMill.
According to VDM, the relationship had begun to sour when denied Pino’s request to post him on his page. Pino then retaliated by painting him in a bad light on his blog page.

Pino responded to the accusation via a Gossip mill post saying that he only posts unbiased news and he will continue to do so regardless of VDM’s greviances and since then, they have continued to throw shades at each other till this day.
