Police Block PDP Headquarters in Abuja to Prevent NEC Meeting (VIDEO)

Armed police officers have taken over the headquarters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), known as Wadata Plaza, in Abuja.

The move comes amid growing tension over a planned National Executive Committee (NEC) Expanded Caucus Meeting scheduled for Monday.

According to a PDP official who spoke anonymously to Channels Television, the police were sent to stop the meeting from taking place.

Initially, some staff members were allowed into the building, but they were later asked to leave.
