Ivorian musician, Houon Ange Didier, popularly known as DJ Arafat, has passed away after a traffic accident involving his power-bike and the car of a journalist.
The 33-year-old entertainer died around 8a.m on Monday, August 12, 2019, after accident an which occurred on the night of Sunday, August 11, in Abidjan.
The “coupe-décalé” star died as a result of the injuries he sustained from the accident at a hospital in Abidjan.

According to reports, his motorcycle was hit by a car driven by a journalist from Radio Côte d’Ivoire.
DJ Arafat was unconscious while being rushed to the hospital and sadly didn’t survive the incident.
Nigerian singer Davido has come out to offer condolences to the legend, confirming his death.
He wrote:
