The Carpenter’s Church in Lagos has announced the death of its presiding pastor, Pastor Mrs. Nkechi Chinyere Ene, who passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.
According to a statement released by Pastor Sola Akinwale on behalf of the church leadership, Pastor Ene died shortly after returning from a ministry trip where she had ministered across several locations.
The church disclosed that she suffered a sudden health crisis soon after arriving in Lagos from her trip.
Her passing has left members of The Carpenter’s Church and the wider Christian community in deep sorrow.
Pastor Ene was known as a devoted preacher who dedicated her life to teaching the Word of God with passion, faith, and love.
The church described her as a woman who lived out her message of faith and service until the end of her life.
Members were urged to remain strong in faith and continue her legacy of love and commitment to God’s work.
Pastor Ene is survived by her husband, Brother Emeka Ene, and their four daughters Zoe, Chloe, Tracy, and Osi.
She is also survived by her mother, Ma Mercy Chijioke, and her siblings.
In its message, the church expressed gratitude for her life and ministry, noting that her impact extended beyond the church and touched many lives across different places.
The Carpenter’s Church said her legacy of faith, compassion, and selfless service will continue to inspire generations to come.
