Pray for Yahoo boys, so money can circulate in Nigeria – Naira Marley reaffirms(video)

UK based Nigerian singer Naira Marley has once again reaffirmed his support for Internet fraudsters AKA ‘yahoo boys’ by asking Nigerians to pray for them as they are responsible for money circulating in the country. 

Recall, Naira Marley had stated before that ‘yahoo yahoo’ is not a crime promoting reactions from other celebrities including Ruggedman who warned him to stop deceiving people.

Naira Marley later went on his Instagram Live to explain his support for the crime by saying yahoo boys were needed for money to go round for the average man in Nigeria.

He said that it was a means of stopping corrupt Government from circulating the money amongst themselves only. 

He said: 

All the money, you are spending, all the money you guys are spending, it’s the government that is making it go round. you better sit down and pray for yahoo guys, if they (government) stop yahoo, the money will just go from Obasanjo to Tinubu to Mr Japa. You think I need Yahoo, I don’t need Yahoo, I make money from music.

“I’m just telling, he who has ears let them hear, I’m only revealing things to you through this talk. All the money that is being circulated from the woman that sells pepper to the woman that sells palm oil and to the runs girls (prostitutes) and he spends on you for you to get a cab and buy stuff, where do you think that money is coming from?” he said.

Some celebrities have spoken out about the issue. Davido asked others not to judge while Zlatan Ibile made light of the conversation on yahoo.

Naira Marley also accused instagram blogger, Tunde Ednut of accepting money from yahoo boys for posts after the blogger said Marley’s stance on yahoo was wrong.
