The President of Nigeria, Muhammad Buhari, has finally broken his silence and addressed the Nation on the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in Nigeria.

He had come under scorn from Nigerians due to his lack of communication with the people which was deemed peculiar as other presidents have been in steady contact with the citizens.

Shortly after the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed the 30th case of the disease in Nigeria, the president’s short address to Nigerians surfaced on Twitter.
