Veteran Nigerian Rapper Eedris AbdulKareem, has been arrested recently for allegedly beating up his landlord, Oladipo Abimbola, over unpaid electricity bill.
The bill was a sum total of N535,000 which had accrued on
January 3, 2020, at Valley View Estate, Ikeja, Lagos.
The landlord had sent officials of Ikeja Electricity Destribution ( IKED) to Eedris’s House to disconnect his power which prompted the rapper to break into his home to beat and strangle him.

According to Abimbola, Eedris’ wife rented the apartment on behalf of her husband and so he didn’t know the singer was to be his tenant.
The landlord had begged for the aid of the authorities as he claimed he was in danger from the aggrieved Rapper whom he claimed was constantly owing him rent.
Meanwhile Eedris accused the landlord of sexually assaulting his wife while he was not around and that he’d done the same thing to a former female tenant.
He said Abimbola frequently encroached on their side of the compound without permission. The case is still ongoing.
