Rapper, MI Abaga has shared his goal to venture into the movie business in 2019.
The ‘Africa rapper number 1’ shared this via a post on Instagram earlier today. MI is arguably Nigeria’s greatest export when hip hop is concerned and he seems set to repeat the feat in the world of Movies.
He revealed that one of his goals in 2019 was to produce a movie. He also urged fans to share their goals with him, so there would be ‘no going back’.
The rapper recently released two albums last year with a hit single that caused a cultural shift in Nigeria’s hip hop scene titled ‘You rappers should fix up your lives’.

One wonders if his interest in cinema was the reason he titled his second studio album “MI2: The movie”. Lol.
We can only wait and watch to see if MI replicates his success in the movie business.
He wrote:
“Boss mode activated this 2019. One of my goals this year that I’m gonna share is I’m going to produce a movie! Okay, now it’s out there! No going back!”
