Reality TV star Ifu Ennada has made a return to social media after more than a year away, revealing she battled a series of life-threatening health and spiritual challenges, including memory loss.
In an emotional post on her verified page, the former Big Brother Naija housemate recounted her experience, describing it as a journey through “death, amnesia, severe mental breakdown, and intense spiritual battles.”
According to her, the ordeal spanned over one and a half years and culminated in a frightening episode on July 23, her birthday, when she suddenly woke up with no recollection of who she was.
“It was like an unexpected plot twist out of a thriller movie,” she wrote. “I woke up one day and didn’t know who I was. I forgot my family, even after seeing pictures and videos. It felt like my entire life before July 23, 2025, was wiped clean.”
Ennada credited her recovery to her faith, her mother’s prayers, and divine intervention. She explained that even during her memory loss, she could still remember God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, something she described as proof of divine mercy.
“My mother, a prayer warrior and servant in God’s house, was constantly praying and got me medical help. Through the help of the Holy Spirit, I remembered my name ‘Faith’ — the ‘F’ in Ifu — and scriptures like Hebrews 11:1 and John 16:33,” she shared.
The actress and entrepreneur said her troubles began after she became more outspoken about her Christian faith, claiming she experienced “spiritual attacks” through vivid dreams and persistent health challenges. Despite the struggles, she said her faith deepened through the trials.
“Please, just help me glorify God because my enemies wanted to ‘unalive’ me, but He helped me and saved me. I am a woman helped by God,” she declared.
Ifu Ennada, whose real name is Iheme Faith Uloma, first gained fame during the 2018 season of Big Brother Naija and has since built a career as an actress, skincare entrepreneur, and outspoken Christian influencer.
She said she plans to share more details of her experiences in the coming days.
