Actress Regina Daniels has accused her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, of domestic violence after a video surfaced online showing her in distress and surrounded by several men alleged to be thugs sent by the senator.
In the viral clip, the actress appeared in tears and had to be calmed by onlookers. She was heard lamenting that she could no longer endure the situation, saying that her husband had sent his thugs following a disagreement.
The incident has led to fans of the actress and also family friends expressing concern for her safety and wellbeing.
According to reports from sources close to the couple, the marriage has allegedly broken down, at least temporarily, following the incident.
As of press time, Senator Nwoko has not publicly commented on the allegations.
