Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has shared footage of herself taking a drug test alongside the results in a bid to debunk claims of being an addict.
She took the drug test abroad to clear her name and put an end to what she described as false narratives surrounding her.
Daniels shared the statement alongside a video showing her undergoing the drug test and later addressing the controversy, stressing that she did not want misinformation about her character to linger in the public space.
In the video seen by Dockaysworld, the actress stated that she has never taken hard drugs, dismissing reports suggesting otherwise.
She, however, acknowledged a past association with Ecstasy, also known as Molly, which she said she had previously spoken about.
According to Daniels, she had earlier explained that the substance use occurred during a period in her personal life and was linked to preferences within her then-marriage with Ned Nwoko, but she made it clear that she would not revisit or further explain that aspect of her life again.
She also warned against continued speculation, saying she would no longer allow false narratives to define her.
The actress further revealed that she plans to take legal action at the appropriate time, a statement widely interpreted as a response to repeated allegations made by her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, accusing her of drug addiction.
Daniels said she is now focused on personal growth, accountability, and moving forward, expressing gratitude for the support she has received from family, friends, and the public amid the controversy.
