Laila Charani, one of the wives of Senator Ned Nwoko, has seemingly accused fellow wife and Regina Daniels of introducing drugs into their household and being a negative influence on members of the family.
In a statement shared on social media, Laila denied claims that Regina had ever given her money and said she was satisfied with the financial support from her husband.
She also challenged Regina to make their bank records public. Recall Regina had hinted at that she’d spent money on a “wannabe Regina” during the heat of her tussle with her husband.
“How dare you say that you ever gave me money, for what exactly?” Laila wrote.
“I am very contented with the provisions my husband makes for our family. We should show Nigerians our bank accounts to see who is paying money to our accounts.”
Laila alleged that Regina introduced her to drugs about six years ago, a situation that almost ended her marriage until her husband intervened.
She also accused the actress of supplying drugs to domestic staff and her younger sister, Destiny.
According to Laila, Regina’s alleged addiction to drugs and alcohol has caused problems between her and their husband, who she said neither drinks nor smokes.
“The only reason you are fighting my husband is because he wants you to stop your drug and alcohol addiction,” she claimed.
Laila further alleged that Regina had inappropriate relations with “every single girl” around her, adding that she no longer trusts her daughters to be around the actress unsupervised as she sleeps with girls around her.
She advised Regina to seek help and continue with her rehabilitation, while urging her to stop attacking her and other wives online.
“If you do not like me, please stay off my page and stop attacking me and my children,” Laila added. “All I have ever wanted is to live peacefully with my husband and family.”
Recall that prior to Laila seemingly coming to corroborate her husband’s claims, senator Ned has denied domestic abuse allegations before countering with allegations of his own.
Netizens and other concerned parties have asked that the matter be resolved amicably to minimize public damage.
