A couple of robbers who had attacked a First bank branch in FCT Abuja at Mbape have been arrested after being stuck inside the bank.
The robbers had been trapped in the building as it was surrounded by scores of policemen who responded quickly to the situation.
According to the CP Bala Ciroma, one was gunned down with four others arrested, including a staff of the bank (First Bank Plc).

Social media users have taken to describing the incident as a failed money heist in reference to a tv show about robbers.
The spokesperson of the command, ASP Mariam Yusuf, confirmed that normalcy has been restored in the area.
