Barcelona’s Lionel Messi and several other Champions League stars have arrived in Monaco ahead of Thursday evening’s group stage draw and awards ceremony.
The 32-year-old mercurial forward was snapped taking photos with fans ahead of the glitzy ceremony and is set to go head-to-head with Liverpool stalwart Virgil van Dijk to be named UEFA Men’s Player of the Year.
Frenkie de Jong and Alisson Becker were also present to discover their respective clubs’ fates ahead of the new European campaign.
