A young Indonesian man identified as Samen Kondorura, 40, has been killed by his dead mother’s coffin after it fell from a funeral tower and crushed him during her funeral service on the island of Sulawesi, Indonesia on Friday.
This sad event happened when the pallbearers (undertakers) lost their footing while trying to carry the coffin up a bamboo ladder, leading to the coffin falling down and killing her son in the process

“As the mother’s coffin was being raised to the lakkian, suddenly the ladder shifted and collapsed, the coffin fell and hit the victim,” A witness said

The victim was then rushed to the hospital and died later.
The body of Kondorura is now resting alongside his mother Berta.
