Liverpool star Sadio Mane has revealed that his public spat with team-mate Mohamed Salah is “forgotten” after clearing the air with his pal.
Mane reacted angrily to not receiving a pass from Salah in the closing stages of the Reds’ 3-0 win at Burnley before the international break.
Then, as he was then substituted, he couldn’t hide his displeasure at the Egyptian as he pointed out his issue to club captain Jordan Henderson.
The pair returned to action on Saturday and they were both on the scoresheet as the Reds secured a comeback 3-1 victory over Newcastle at Anfield.
And following the encounter, Mane who scored a stunning brace in the win over the Magpies – revealed that the pair have now made amends.
“With Salah? It’s forgotten,” Mane said to Reporters . “These are things that happen in football. Sometimes you have to say
things face to face.
“Sometimes it happens that I am not given the pass. “But we have reconciled and become the good friends we were before.”
Mane struck twice as Liverpool came from behind to maintain their 100 per cent Premier League start with a 3-1 win over Newcastle.
