Actress and producer Regina Daniels has shown off a large new diamond ring gifted to her by her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, after she lost her previous one months ago.
The 24-year-old shared a video flaunting the sparkling piece on her finger as she celebrated her birthday, revealing in the caption that her husband initially refused to replace the lost ring.
“Guys! So a quick story. I misplaced my ring months back but y’all made it extremely noticeable to my husband by highlighting on its absence,” she wrote. “At first he was hell-bent on not getting a new one because he concluded it was one of my mischiefs.”
She added that the senator eventually changed his mind and surprised her with an even finer ring. “To cut the story short, e sweet me say e don buy new one wey better pass the old wella!! So daalu sor Dim,” she said, using an Igbo phrase to thank him.
Regina noted that she couldn’t capture the private moment when she received the new ring but expressed joy over the thoughtful gesture.
