Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos has come head to head in a huge LA liga goal scoring record.
The defender strike strike against Leganes on Wednesday night, October 30, has leveled him with Lionel Messi in a 16-year long La Liga record.

The strike, which is Ramos’ first goal of the season, means the no nonsense defender has scored for Real Madrid in “sixteen consecutive seasons”.
Amusingly, Messi is the only person to have reached that monumental landmark for Barcelona in La Liga. The Argentine ace recorded his first goals for the Catalans against Albacete in 2004/05 campaign.
Messi started his football career at Barca La Masia Academy before elevating to the main team, and he has never played for another club.
