Singer 1da Banton stages protest at label boss Adasa Cookey’s house over unpaid royalties

Popular Nigerian singer Godson Epelle aka 1da Banton has stormed the estate gates of his label boss Adasa Cookey to protest being owed royalties.

The singer took to his Instagram live to share the moment he and a number of his boys called out to the Squareball media boss, demanding that he pays what he owes.

According to 1da, he’d been taken advantage of due to the respect he had for the music executive. He intimated that he was being owed millions of dollars.

During his demonstration, some policemen had waded into the matter to restore peace but 1da stood his ground, asserting that he’d done nothing wrong as he continued demanding the funds.
