A female Nigerian student has taken to the business of palm oil after months away from school due to the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU strike.
The lady shared photos of herself making palm oil in the village where she’s stuck due to the lingering strike action.

“So ASUU refused to call off the strike and I’m stuck in the village. Omo, making palm oil is not a day’s job. But anyway, it was fun and it’s an experience.”
ASUU has been on strike since the 4th of November, 2018 and after several meetings with the FG, no resolution had been reached.
The union says it wont call off the strike until their demands are met by the Federal Government.
