Recall that the clamor for Nigerian ambassadors has been mounting as the nation has had no ambassadors for about 2 years.

The calls mounted following President Trump’s re-designation of Nigeria as a country of particular concern.

This led to many pondering whether relations may have been smoother with a Nigerian Ambassador in the United States to intercede for the country.
It is not yet clear which foreign missions these ambassadors are to lead if confirmed.
